Gisele Bündchen has donated $1 million to Miami women’s shelter for Children’s Center.
Gisele Bündchen is giving back to help battle the growing childhood homeless crisis in Florida by donating $1 million to the nation’s largest women’s shelter, the Miami chapter of Lotus House.
Lotus House ‘serves women who are homeless, whether due to domestic violence, untreated medical or mental illness, disability or economic reasons’, and Gisele’s gift will go toward a new playground and more programming within the village. Gisele said, “Building a solid community for children is so important, especially for those who are vulnerable and in need.”
Bundchen still resides in the Sunshine State.
