Look who popped up on Queen City News talking about adopting a dog: It’s Mix 107.9’s own Holly Haze.
Overcrowding has been a critical issue for CMPD’s Animal Care and Control Center and looks to be dire when Summer brings fuller shelters and renovations at the facility.

The AC&C recently held their State of the Shelter and the news was less than auspicious. As Phase 2 of their renovations get underway, the shelter will lose 50 available kennels.
There are several ways you can help that don’t include a full adoption. There’s fostering, offering a staycation (up to five days), volunteering and spreading the word.
