The first Bojangles-branded restaurant has reopened in Charlotte, 46 years after it first opened its doors on West Boulevard.
The original location has undergone renovations to reflect the transformation of the South End neighborhood and the business itself.
The restaurant now features a drive-thru and a dining room, as well as an artificial intelligence system called “Bo-Linda” to take drive-thru orders.
Other new additions include a window into the biscuit station, where guests can watch the biscuit-making process.
Bojangles has expanded from its original one-town shot to become a southeastern staple with locations across the US and even internationally.
